Step By Step Kim Kardashian Contour Tutorial @KimKardashian #MUA #KimKardashian #Kimye #KK #KUWTK

If you are keeping up with the Kardashian's like the rest of us, you must first start with the contour. A face contour will bring out all of your best features, and no one does this technique better than superstar Kim Kardashian. There has been a lot of controversy about the contouring trend, but one things for sure, it works for her...Below you will find a speedy 5 step version and a detailed fifty step version.

1. Feel the contours of your face. Apply the contour color directly underneath your cheekbone, extending from the center of your ear in a slightly downward motion. You will want to keep the contour application concise. If your brush feels too fluffy or large, pinch the bristles when you apply, this will give you more control.
2. Use a small eyeshadow brush to softly line both sides of the nose. If your nose is long, you may want to apply a little under the tip of your nose. Again, keep the applications concise.
3. Feel your jaw. You will apply your contour color below your jawbone, making sure not to apply any color to the actual bone. The point is to create a shadow below your jaw. If your jaw is large, you may bring the contour color up on either side of the chin. This will make your jaw appear less bold.
4. Blend your contour color into your hairline. Doing this helps make your face appear slimmer. Make sure to blend well into the hairline.
5. Although your colors may be dramatic, there should be no severe lines. Blend edges well.

THE MARIO/KIM BEAUTY ROUTINE

As you'll see, this routine is impossible to reproduce, with custom lip colors and not-yet-on-the market products, but here's a step-by-step to how Mario gives Kim her famous face.
1. Usually there's hairspray on the face, so clean the face off first with a wet wipe.
2. Start with an emollient moisturizer, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer, using a white beauty blender. This goes on every part of the body that is visible.
3. Brush eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills #14, but just the spooly part.
4. Next up: cream foundation. Use Giorgio Armani #7 and #9 mixed, otherwise, Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation. Use an It Cosmetics Double Ended Brush or for heavier application, Trish McEvoy brush.
5. Blend with damp beauty blender sponge. Kim is anal retentive about neck coverage being applied up the neck rather than down because she’s scared of wrinkles.
6. Add the POREfessional: Agent Zero shine powder under eyes, where you will later apply concealer.
7. Apply MAC Lip Balm.
8. Use MAC Powder Puff to protect underneath the eyes as you work on the eye area.
9. Apply Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown in the outer corners, with a lighter color towards the nose.
10. Next: Anastasia Brow Pro Palette to fill in some of the brow, also.
11. Twinkle Pop Eye Stick from Marc Jacobs, using a Sigma e46 inner corner brush all over the eye.
12. Highlight the browbone with Charlotte Tillbury Golden Goddess Palette, using a Stila #15 brush.
13. So Hollywood by Anastasia Beverly Hills — this is a highlighter for the face. It comes out late August.
14. Put MAC FIX+ on a wet brush, the one used for highlighting. For very center of the eyes.
15. Kevyn Aucoin eye pigment in Titian, used in the outer corners.
17. Put on MAC Liquid Liner in Boot Black using the Anastasia #3 brush — in a very fine line. Mario uses the brush so the color of the liner doesn’t change in the pot each time you re-dip it.
18. Anastasia Cream Color in Jet, with the same brush.
19. Surratt Eyelash Curler (which is preferred over Shu Uemura).
20. Time for Dermacolor Camoflage System concealers. For Kim, the colors change every day but it is usually some combination of D1, D50, D51.
21. Use Giorgio Armani eye tint with a beauty blender.
22. Benefit Porefessional (used previously) to set undereyes.
23. Scorch by Urban Decay eyeliner under eyes.
25. Use Lorac #103 brush to blend bottom liner.
26. So Hollywood Illuminator using e46 Sigma brush in inner corner of the eye.
27. Light powder a MAC puffer with Bobbi Brown Loose Powder.
28. L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara (or Benefit They're Real). Mario applies this with a finger on the lid so the mascara doesn’t get on Kim's eyelid and ruin the makeup.
29. More MAC Bootblack liner.
32. Blend product with Sigma E17 brush.
34. Apply Red Cherry lashes: Mario uses a bunch of different kinds, creating custom trays.
35. Elegant Lashes is another brand Mario likes, one he used on Kim that day.
38. The big moment: Benefit Hoola to contour.
39. Apply with Trish Mcevoy 2B Sheer brush.
40. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, the bottom middle shade, to contour her nose.
41. Vincent Longo #22 Large Eyeshadow Brush to apply and sculpt.
42. Filmstar Bronze & Glow by Charlotte Tillbury, specifically the highlight.
43. So Hollywood by Anastasia, again on her cheekbones.
44. Add a little bit of Watts Up Highlighter by Benefit as well. This a good cream highlighter Mario recommends.
46. Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil in Medium: Mario's all time favorite pencil, the one he first used on Kim and continues to use constantly.
47. Preo Eyelash Curler: this curls small sections of your eyelashes. It’s super weird and from Japan.
48. Finally! Lip colors: like five from Tom Ford mixed together (all custom, sorry).
49. Spray with MAC FIX+.
50. Use TATCHA Blotting Papers to blot oil, if necessary.
Have you guys tried contouring? Try both of these techniques and let me know what you think!

  1. As a make up artist working in theater I recently found that Ben Nye now help darker skins which is absolutely fantastic,http://www.bananapowder.online/banana-powder-for-dark-skin/. This is such a help at reducing shine and the powders are lovely to work with.
