According to reports, several shots were fired at a Rolls Royce around 5 a.m. Monday Morning in front of the Floridian Restaurant, causing the vehicle to crash into a building. At first WSVN reported the Rolls had crashed into the Floridian, but according to the Sun-Sentinel, the car slammed into a next-door apartment building where a Floridian employee was living, waking her from sleep. The driver, thought to be rapper Rick Ross, and a woman also inside the car, were not hit by any of the bullets. Police are interviewing them at the restaurant, but have not confirmed their identity. The shots apparently came from another car traveling eastbound on Las Olas Boulevard.
