Just three short years ago, Trevor Andrew AKA known as Trouble Andrew/ GUCCIGhost was an ex-Olympic snowboarder living in Bed-Stuy with a genuine fascination with Gucci . He was looking for a quick costume for Halloween, so he cut a pair of holes in his fine Gucci bedsheets and called it a night. When he strolled the streets of NY people yelled at him: “Hey! Gucci ghost!” That was the moment that got us here.
Excited, Trevor started to run around the city painting the Gucci logo on every surface he could find, later posting the images to his personal Instagram using the hashtag #guccighost. Shortly thereafter his following grew.
Shortly thereafter, nearly 3,000 posts and 26,000 followers later, he ended up: at Gucci’s Milan headquarters not only meeting with Alessandro Michele, but also working with the creative director. Now we see what that meeting spawned.
