You Can Change Your Style Without Changing Who You Are

Your style is allowed to evolve. Maybe the clothes you loved five years ago no longer represent you. Maybe you're becoming bolder, more polished, more feminine, more relaxed, more luxurious or simply more experimental. That doesn't mean you've lost yourself. It means you're discovering yourself. Style isn't a costume you wear to become acceptable. It's a language you can use to communicate who you are today. Try the color. Wear the dramatic shoe. Change your hair. Mix high and low. Dress for the mood you're creating. But don't let fashion become another place where you seek permission to exist. Trends can inspire you without defining you. Your style should serve your identity not replace it. You don't need to dress like everyone else to look good. You need to look like yourself, intentionally.
