Since releasing his debut mixtape "The Manhathan Project" in 2008, Jonathan Perez has become the next big thing. He not only concentrated on furthering his lyrical skills, but produced his own beats as well as bring in the talents of a group of local producers. In 2009, the release of About A Girl, his second mixtape, awoke the visual and creative artist that we know today as Audubon. Along with good friend and videographer Nelson Salcedo, Audubon co-directed the video to the first single off that tape, Breakfast in Bed.
In 2010, Audubon released his third mixtape "Summer in Berlin" along with three videos he also co-directed; Restart, Thoughts of an Avenue, and Hublot Music. In late 2010 he released his third compilation mixtape "Thoughts of An Avenue", which featured some previously unreleased tracks. late 2011.
2012 marks a promising year for Audubon, currently working on 'his latest album,"Digging for Sunlight",Available on itunes mid-Febuary. 2013.Audubon has been performing at venues all over New York and New Jersey, Audubon has been writing music for other artists, and has film and television projects in development. Audubon will be one of the few greats in the music industry, as his talent knows no bounds. Audubon is now a bonafide star on Mtv's Washington Heights along with popular friends and castmates Ludwin, Frankie, Reyna, Jimmy, Fred, Eliza, Rico, Taylor.
