GQ Names Colin Kaepernick Citizen of The Year

Colin Kaepernick has been named "Citizen of the Year" by GQ magazine, who put out a story Monday about the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and his becoming a political figure since his decision to protest during the national anthem.
In an interesting article we do not hear from Kaepernick himself as he has chosen to stay silent. The photoshoot took place in Harlem, and the pictorial speaks volumes. Kaepernick is not quoted in the story, titled "Colin Kaepernick Will Not Be Silenced." GQ states in the story that Kaepernick, who has very rarely spoken publicly since becoming a free agent this year, has "grown wise to the power of his silence." Let me know what you think of this decision by GQ.
