Fear gets blamed for a lot, but sometimes fear is actually trying to give you information. It's pointing toward something unfamiliar, vulnerable, or important. Think about it: the job you're scared to apply for, the business you're nervous to launch, the conversation you've been avoiding, the version of yourself you're afraid people won't recognize. Fear doesn't always mean "don't go." Sometimes it means "this matters." The trick is learning the difference between a genuine warning and discomfort that comes with growth. You don't have to eliminate fear before taking action. You just need to stop letting it make every decision for you. Take the information, assess the risk, and then decide. Courage isn't being fearless. It's knowing fear is in the room and refusing to hand it the microphone. The next time your stomach drops before doing something new, don't automatically retreat. Ask yourself what this feeling is trying to teach you. Sometimes fear is standing at the edge of your next chapter.
