How To Style Shimmer

Hi y'all! Its Sheena here with How to Style, and today we are focusing on Shimmer. Who doesn't love a little shimmer every now and then!?!? If you're gonna go shimmery in my opinion you should go full on.

For my look I chose to pair my shimmer dress and cover up with thigh high boots. I love this look because I felt the full on glow.

You can try it on a top or pair it with a bag. I love the way Rihanna paired her shimmer with destroyed denim.

If you're not into all the sparkle try it on your feet. Trying it on a pair of socks may be the perfect solution. A little bit goes a long way.

I love the shimmer on a sleeveless body con because you don't have to do much else. It speaks for itself!

Sheena's Daily Dose Of Celebrity Style Featuring: #CaraSantana #ReeseWitherspoon & #AnnaSophiaRobb

In TODAY's episode of Sheena's Daily Dose of Celebrity Style we have all the Hollywood starlets in turtlenecks and tons of floral print. First up we have Cara Santana in some super shiny pants paired with a turtleneck and a red lip. Her styling is always crisp and deliberate. We can totally appreciate it! This look is easy to recreate pull out the pleather pants, booties and a turtleneck...slap on a red lip and voila, issa look!

Next up we have the ever so classy Reese Witherspoon, in her turtleneck and ruffle skirt with a large floral print. The flip in her hair is giving me Elle Woods vibes, but I don't hate it!

AnnaSophia Ross showed up for the Freak Show in great style. The print and the bow pair well. I am super partial to Pink and Green, as a matter of fact I'm gonna need this dress for the 15th. Loving it!

In TODAY's daily dose of  Style we have the girls keeping it casual. Christina Milian, Selma Blair and Sofia Richie were all spotted doing casual differently. 

What I love about Christina Milian's look is that its effortless and sporty at the same time. This look is perfect for the chicest of girls on the go. We all love some black leggings and a gray sweatshirt. She topped it off with some trendy Yeezy's and a sports bra.

 Selma showed up that you can do an easy breezy look paired with some slides in the winter time. She is giving us total California cool in this V-neck wrap look topped off with some shades. I love!

Sofia's look screams underplayed and over delivered. She gives great hair looks and simple accessories. Her personal style is everything. You can't go wrong with a pair of Louis Vuitton boots and jeans. Yasss girl!

While we love the classic look of stripes, the naked truth is that stripes can make the area they sit on look shorter and wider. So we have to be a little more careful about how we wear stripes.

Here is the skinny:

• Avoid putting horizontal stripes across the larger parts of your body.
• The wider the stripe, the wider and shorter the area will appear.
• The higher the contrast in color, the more dramatic the widening effect.
• You can minimize a stripe’s widening effect by mixing with vertical design elements.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley just gets it, she chose to wear a strapless striped jumpsuit with glam hair. The close fit up top pairs well with the flare down below.

Miley Cyrus chose to break up her striped look with a little skin showing, the playful Mickey Mouse crop top balances out her look.

Out always chic and stylist Celebrity Style GIRL face Olivia Palermo, paired her stripes with a tuxedo jacket and bright blue pumps. This look is absolutely flawless. Checkout my take on a full on stripe look.
